Editorial Content Management Associate

Overview

The Editorial Content Management Associate position is primarily responsible for editing content on the properties of a given production including websites, emails, social media communications and other copy. This position is larely internet based therefore successful candidates should have adequate abilities with regards to computers, internet services, search engines, websites and other tools of the trade, HOWEVER, extensive training and support is provided on all specific tools and techniques required to complete the required tasks.

Responsibilities

  1. Editing articles, pages, posts, emails, copy, scripts and other written works for spelling, grammar, content and basic Search Engine Optimization
  2. Sponsored and Guest Post – Editorial Review for context and content publishing
  3. Keyword Research for Content Strategy Development – Reporting on topics to target
  4. Community Content Contributor Management – Sourcing, evaluating, and communicating with members of community platforms.
  5. Property conversation review – reading and responding to questions where appropriate. Editing for content and context. Comment moderation on website and social networks. Comment tagging for compilation of greater works
  6. Writing articles, pages, posts, emails, scripts and other works when needed and appropriate
  7. Video and Audio Transcription, Markup and Basic SEO

Requirements

This position is in conduction with a Canadian Human Resources and Development program that has specific reruirements as listed below:

  1. Between the ages of 20 and 30 (inclusive) at the time of intake/selection
  2. Recent Post-Secondary graduate (within 3 years) from any institution including University, College or Tech Schools
  3. A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee status has been conferred
  4. Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulation
  5. Not be in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
  6. Willingness to join an exciting team with ambitions for growth in our company
  7. Willingness to learn quickly and to be trained on in-demand skills
  8. Tenacious enthusiasm for marketing, research and supporting team members
  9. Your own computer with high-speed internet Access
  10. Reasonable proficiency at Typing and Data Entry
  11. Experience with Document Building: Word Processors, Spreadsheets, Databases etc.
