Website Management Team Leader
Overview
The Website Management Team Leader position is responsible for delegating tasks to, and supporting the website management team. The Website Management Team consists of a Web Developer / Webmaster, an Editor / Content Manager, Graphic Designer / Copywriter and a Marketing Research Assistant.
In order to qualify for this position, the successful candidate have some experience in most areas of website development and internet marketing, however training is provided and systems are in place to ensure that this role is mostly management and communications. Therefore, excellent communications skills are the primary requirement for this position. You must listen well, take notes, provide feedback, delegate appropriately with clear written and spoken English using the provided tools such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management Software.
Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with Web Team members, providing support when needed
- Use Project Management Software to ensure tasks are delegated appropriately and are being completed efficiently
- Facilitate training of Web Team members
- Communication with Executive and General Manager, reporting on processes, problems and opportunities
- Installing and Configuring WordPress websites, Plugins and Themes
- Manage Web-based CRM (InfusionSoft) to monitor the communication of E-commerce, List Building, Email Marketing and Affiliate transactions
- Use online web-services for Support (ZenDesk) to answer questions from visitors, prospects, clients and members.
- Facilitate communication with various lists using CRM (InfusionSoft) including Affiliates and Joint Venture Partners
- Participate in conversations on various properties (Website, Facebook, Twitter etc.) to provide support to questions and comments
Requirements
- Your own computer with high-speed internet Access
- Excellent written and verbal command of the English Language
- Experience with WordPress or Other Content Management Systems
- Comfortable managing and delegating to team members
- Comfortable being the support and point-of-contact for team members and the website’s community
- Calm and direct approach to problem solving
